Mrs Anna (Farwell) de Koven
She graduated from Lake Forest University (co-founded by her father) as valedictorian. She became Literary Editor for the Chicago "Evening Post" in Chicago and contributed articles several publications. In 1913, she published a biography of the "Life and Letters of John Paul Jones (1747-1792)," the first and most notable U.S. Naval Commander. In 1926, she published her second book which was a complete biography of her husband, the famous composer, and their life together: "A Musician and His Wife".
