Ann (Richardson) Anderson (1797-1880)

Mrs Ann (Richardson) Ogden, Anderson, of Roslin, near Quebec

She was first married to David Ogden (son of Judge Isaac Ogden U.E.L.) whose sister-in-law, Mrs Mary Aston (Coffin) Ogden, was the sister-in-law of Charles William Grant, 5th Baron de Longueuil, whose father was a first cousin of Ann's mother, Mrs Sarah Ann (Grant) Richardson. Their wedding took place at Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal, in 1815 and was witnessed by John Forsyth. Ogden gave her a dowry of £2,000 with "other advantages". After her first husband died, she married Thomas B. Anderson, President of the Bank of Montreal. She died at Roslin, near Quebec.
