Ann Eliza LeFort (1794-1843)
Mrs Ann Eliza (LeFort) Cregier
She was the daughter of Captain John LeFort, "a well-known French shipmaster" associated with the merchant marine of New York. She was also a cousin of the portrait painter Henry Inman and "nearly related by marriage" to Daniel Tomkins, Vice President of the United States.
