Adolph George Rosengarten (1838-1862)
Major Adolph G. Rosengarten, of the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry
In 1860, he and his brother Harry were admitted as partners into the family chemical manufacturing firm, Rosengarten & Sons. He volunteered for action and was appointed Major in command of the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry. He was killed leading a charge at the Battle of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was unmarried.
