New House
Appleton Farms (Ipswich), South Hamilton, Massachusetts
Built in 1890, for Francis Randall Appleton (1854-1929) and his wife, Fanny Lanier (1864-1958). Appleton Farms was first acquired by the Appleton family in 1638 and contains several houses built by various members of the family. It is one of the oldest continuously operating farms in Massachusetts. New House was demolished in 1961.
