Mannsfield Hall
Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania County, Virginia
Built 1765-66, for Mann Page III (1749-1781) and his wife Mary Tayloe (1759-1835). Mann grew up at the magnificent Rosewell, but the home he built for him and his wife was an almost identical replica of Mount Airy which his father-in-law, Colonel John Tayloe II (1721-1779), had completed one year earlier.

An excellent article on Digging Mannsfield that formed the basis of these notes and from where the pictures are taken.
