Hammond Castle
Hammond Castle, Gloucester, Massachusetts
Completed in 1929, for John Hays Hammond Jr. (1888-1965) and his wife Irene Fenton (1880-1959). He was the brother of Harris Hays Hammond (1881-1969) who rebuilt Hammond House on the site of Point Breeze put up by Napoleon's brother, the deposed King of Spain.
