Ferncliff
Rhinebeck, New York
Built in 1874, for William B. Astor Jr. (1829-1892) and his wife, Caroline Webster Schermerhorn (1830-1908). It was greatly expanded by his son, Jack Astor, and grandson, Vincent. It was demolished in the 1940s in favor of Astor Courts.
