This house was the American home of Charles Henry Robinson Jr. (1892-1985) who is best remembered for purchasing, restoring and then gifting the magnificent 14th century manor, Ightam Mote in England, to the National Trust. Robinson's stone manor house enjoys a magnificent, uninterrupted view over Casco Bay and has its own 150 foot private beach. It contains 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and a double-sided fireplace in the sitting room.
